Mentoring Services
Semester-Long
For schools in the metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia area, this involves about 10-12 contact hours with a mentee throughout the term.
Mentoring services include:
- Revise or restructure courses
- Organize the course and individual presentations
- Help improve presentation clarity
- First day of class issues and syllabi redesign
- Improve case teaching
- Design better exams
- Incorporate active learning through cooperative groups
- Design strategies to improve student motivation
- Reduce classroom problems
Short-Term
I can either visit your school or work with faculty via technology for one to several hours on a specific issue. I have mentored faculty at UNC - Chapel Hill, Winthrop University, Wake Forest University, University of Alabama - Birmingham (business, arts and sciences, medicine, engineering etc.), Northern Ohio University, Loyola University Maryland, University of Maryland, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Queensland University of Technology, and Middle Tennessee State University.
